This is a set of explorations that I hand out to my groups of students. When they have completed one they come for another. It is done before we formally go over all the congruence shortcuts for triangles. It could use some tweaking and if you have any suggestions please let me know so I can make them and reupload this.
Student groups each need a set of angle legs to perform the activities along with some blank paper to do their sketches on.
The goal is for them to SEE the congruence shortcuts and to understand why some work and why others do not.
