Compare and Contrast: Titanic and Ships
These are papers (19 pages) to go along with a unit on Comparing and Contrasting.
I found 2 excellent books for my students to use: National Geographic Kids: Titanic by Melissa Stewart and Ships by Emily Bone (an Usborne Beginner Book. I got both of these from Amazon.com. These papers should be able to be used with any books (or websites) on the Titanic and Ships.
This set includes basic comprehension papers for both the Titanic and Ships. There are Fact pages for each (Titanic and Ships) with 5 boxes for the students to write interesting facts they learned. There is a Double Venn Diagram page to Compare and Contrast the Titanic and Ships. There are 2 pages of 10 questions for students to Compare and Contrast using multiple choice answers. There are 36 Vocabulary Word cards that can be used for a Word Wall or class Venn Diagram chart. There is a large clip art picture of the Titanic and one of a ship to use on the chart along with the words “Titanic”, “Ships” and “Both” to use on the chart.
