24 practice problems in counting atoms in compounds. First page focuses on compounds with formulas that do not have parenthesis or coefficients. The second sheet/back has 12 problems with parentheses and coefficients (both stoichiometric and in hydrates).

Great homework or for teaching these skills. Designed as drill practice to reinforce instruction.

Scaffolded for advanced students by requiring them to list compounds’ constituant atoms before counting as well as requiring them to look up compound names. You can modify this part of the assignment as you wish.
