With this lesson plan i created a number of resources which i cant upload. I made a variety of resource from some snippets of comic pictures from the 'Manga bible&', a criminal profile of Judas, revelant sections from the bible on the betrayal of jesus from Matthew, mark, luke, and John. put all of this information into brown envelopes and repeated this for however many groups of 4 i had. I made the lesson into a criminal investigation, so it was working on there independant research skills.
Lesson on the topic of Jesus' existence.Power point and lesson plan attached. There is also a peer assessment task with a peer assessment grid. There is an activity where pupils teach each other, attached is the work sheet and information needed to carry out this activity. The lesson is aimed at 7A-5A.
I have adapted some resoucres already on TES to form the backbone of this lesson on the resurrection.
There are a lot of resources so I printed each sheet out on different coloured paper and made each pupil a 'Top Secret' pack in an A4 envelope with a Top Secret sticker on the front.
There is also an ActivInspire notebook that goes with the lesson but for some reason I can't upload it here. If you'd like it, please message me and I will email it if I can!
Many thanks to terriannisis19 for the initial upload of her fantastic resources.
This lesson was graded as outstanding.
Detailed notes on the cosmological argument (strong emphasis on Aquinas' and the Kalam's versions). This is written for the AQA specification and contains material beyond and above for other exam broads such as OCR and EdExcel.
Pupils use video and information sheets to consider who Gandhi was and what he was trying to achieve. It also includes an interview with MLK as he talks about how Gandhi inspired him. Pupils finish with a literacy exercise where they imagine they are MLK and they write a speech about Gandhi using key words. Assessment is two stars & a wish with time for green pen improvements.
