This looks amazing- a great deal of work has gone into this and it is much appreciated. I notice however, that most of the extracts you use are from the 21st Century. Any idea how I might pitch this to my HOD?
Hi. Thanks for your kind review. You could always change the texts, but I have found that there wasn't a whole lot of difference in the style of the extracts (so chose the extracts included to hook students in) so it was all good practice and students gained confidence. Hope that helps!
Please see my message to you in the community bit. You did not understand my question. I know there is an extract from earlier - I mention this in my original mesage - but the names in it (Jasper & Melanie) are NOT in the initial extract given about Deadwater (about Egbert). Therefore I am trying to find out if it does actually refer to that book, & if so, which section? Much appreciated
Hi. The extract from lesson 1 is the only Dead Weather resource used and the characters are the brother and sister.
