EYFS September 2021 Statutory Baseline assessment

When children start school in September 2021, you will have six weeks to complete the NEW baseline.
I have made a complete resource so you will be well prepared.
This 13 page editable excel is divided by subject and all you need to do is add your pupil names and print out.
As a bonus I have included optional resource pages so that you can print them off to save you preparation time needed to gather resources.
The guidance suggests that each child’s assessment can be started and stopped but that it should only take twenty minutes. My extensive experience of teaching in the EYFS has taught me that it’s not as straightforward as that. I have always thought that assessment should be slotted into your everyday routines. Your greatest tool is your own ability to spot incidental opportunities. Parts of the baseline will have to be completed on a 1:1 basis but much of it can be completed if you know exactly what you and your support team are looking for; by observing and interacting with the new intake. e.g. Child uses props in the role play or child talks about the things around them. This download will save you hours and is therefore exceptionally good value for money and will help you spot the changes between the old and new assessment in order to be well prepared for September.
