Volume 1 is divided into two sections: Section A deals with Profit and Loss Accounts/ Income Statements, while Section B deals with Balance Sheets/ Statements of Financial Position. Both sections contain 21 differentiated worksheets together with full answers and model written responses with the highlighted features that examiners hope to see. These can either be printed or projected onto a whiteboard.
Perhaps most importantly, this volume offers teachers two levels of classroom differentiation. The 21 worksheets contained in this volume are produced in two different versions, each discretely coded A (lower ability) or B (higher ability). Another benefit is that all students are working to produce largely the same end result, but with different degrees of support. From this, teachers can deliver both differentiated and fully inclusive lessons by also being able to give whole-class feedback on the same exercise.
Volume 2 supports student reflection and self-assessment by containing detailed tracking sheets. Indeed, students can review how well they have met the separate learning objectives provided for each individual worksheet and set themselves personal targets for improvement. These tracking sheets can then be used to demonstrate actual progress towards lesson targets.
