Introduction to Shakespeare: Insults and Context
Fun introduction to Shakespeare. Start by using insults - three shoe boxes and you cut up the insults and get them to pick them out. They mix them up/add their own/then you tell them it's Shakespeare! The second part is an investigation. I add lots of info around the room. They work in groups of 3 and only one person can be up at one time - they gather the info and then there&'s a quiz (i&';ll add that later!). Second lesson - intro to Midsummer. Watch animated tales + act out Puck's speech.
