Japanese Internment During WWII Activity & Play (U.S. History)

This activity begins with a review of the Japanese Internment during WWI and Executive Order 9066. Students will watch a short film clip and answer review questions. They will then view pictures of Japanese Internment and discuss how the Japanese were affected. They will then act out the famous case, Koremastu v The United States, analyze political cartoons and answer review questions related to the play. To assess their knowledge, students will complete several true or false questions with a Ticket-Out-The-Door. (60 minutes)
