Used in our Joan Miro work. We threw a dice to use the coordinates chart . This told the children what shapes/ colours their drawings had to include. We then drew our design. We read texts and matched them with the correct image and was inspired by the artist himself- whilst looking for colours and shapes.

I'm looking forward to using this resource with my P5s, mixing learning vocab for Spanish shapes with art in the style of Miró. Muchas gracias!

Great activities linking art history and language; each could be used independently. For example, the coordinates game would make a great end of term activity!
