This is a 5-page worksheet that requires students to investigate the 2017 Economics Intelligence Unit’s Liveability Survey of 140 of the world’s largest cities. Students are directed to a website that provides a summary of the 2017 from which they can answer the questions on the worksheet. It is designed for the Australian Curriculum Geography unit "Places are for Living "; but will suit other jurisdictions where a syllabus has a focus on liveability as part of an urban geography unit of work. Suggested answers are provided as a separate document in the package.

Awesome resource! My Year 11 students really got into the activity. It's a great intro activity for the concept of livability. also the up-to-date reports from the Economist are also easy to find, so we used data from 2019.
