Living and Non-Living Anticipation Guides FREEBIE!
The “FREEBIE! Living and Non-Living Anticipation Guides” package contains 2 different anticipation guides that you can use with your students. The first version requires students to answer “Yes” or “No” to each of the statements. It can be used at the start of the unit as a pre-assessment and then at the end of the unit to show student learning. The second version contains the same statements but requires students to answer “True” or “False” and give an explanation for their answer. This anticipation guide can be given at the beginning and end of a unit to provide evidence of what students learned.

The anticipation guides are provided in colour and black and white.

Choose the anticipation guide that best meets the needs of the students in your class. You may decide to use one or both of the anticipation guides with your students.
