Marie Curie Biography

Need a resource that can be used as an extension activity, sub plan, homework or stand alone lesson? Hand out the biography of radioactivity pioneer Marie Curie, and have your students complete the fact file compiling facts and information they find interesting about her life.

Ideas for teaching:
Once completed the students could be place into small groups to compare and contrast their answers and once this is completed their favourite pieces of information could be used as the basis for a whole class discussion.

To further expand on the biography your students could use the internet to further investigate other aspects of Curie’s life.
