Mathjitsu is a concept I created for my class to help them learn their times tables. I have tweaked the order in which children learn their times tables to follow the Shanghai Method, making it easier to recognise relationships between times table facts.

This resource includes nine 'band assessments' (comprehensively assessing 10, 5, 2, 4, 8, 3, 6, 9 and 7 times tables and all related facts, including division facts) eight coloured bands, to help children learn the next times table, a progress tracker sheet and instructions.
