This lesson plan aligns with PK.N.1.2, in which students are to be able to recognize and name numbers 1-10. To warm your students up, show them numbers 1-10 individually and see who can name them. Ask them, “Who knows this number?” without revealing the answer. Next, read the following slides as you point to the objects on each page. To engage students even more in the lesson, have them count the objects aloud, which is an opportunity to practice. Finally, you can assess them with flashcards.
