Revision sheet of Passé Composé rules
This is a recap of how to conjugate the passé composé in an A4 sheet that students can have with them at all times. When practising in class, I number the 4 quadrants, say a sentence in English and ask them which quadrant should I look at to conjugate my verb (e.g. is it avoir normal, is it avoir exception, is it être normal or is it être exception). You can then use this basis to explain all other compound tenses. The students love it!
