So Big - Investigation for Post 16 - Geometry.
One side of a triangle is divided into segments of length a and b by the inscribed circle, with radius r. Prove that the area is: abr(a+b)/ab-r^2. A great proof question to extend the learning of the more able A-level students. Teacher notes and the solution are included. This would make an ideal consolidation lesson on the topic of proof or having completed work on circle segments and triangles.
