Creating a soundscape using inspiration from Romans history topic. Students make sounds using body percussion, and from items found in the classroom, and begin to explore informal notation (symbols representing sounds). Could be easily adapted to any other topic. Could also be used for Year 4 topics with added discussion around texture and rhythm.
