Mini Maths revision booklets that I have created for my Year 6 covering topics they have looked at this half-term. The four booklets are differentiated and children can then spend the next lesson going over any errors they have made in them as well. Questions include: finding fractions and percentages, fraction/ percentage equivalents, area and perimeter, negative numbers including ordering, adding and subtracting fractions and multiplying and dividing fractions within word problems.

Fully planned, differentiated and resourced unit of work looking at information texts. Included are all the slides, planning and resources needed to run each lesson, with 14-15 lessons that focus on key features of information texts and work on different skills before completing their own independent writing. Written for Year 5 but easily adaptable between Year 3 and Year 7. Skills include: researching and planning, reading comprehension, using generalisers, creating a glossary and structuring a text with sub-headings and a topic phrase.

A lesson that looks at being able to use time adverbials accurately, particularly in the context of writing a set of instructions. Included is the presentation and a set of three differentiated resources for children to work through.

A reading comprehension resource that focuses on parts of a flower, providing information about the different parts of a flower and the role they play as well as activities linked to this to check understanding. The fact file includes a brief introduction before focusing on the different parts of the flower and the role they have. This includes petals, sepal, parts of the stamen and parts of the pistil. The resource includes: A fact file about parts of a flower mentioned above (both in colour and black and white for ink saving purposes) 3 different comprehension activities of differing challenge - answers are included for these A vocabulary activity that requires definitions to be found for each word provided.

An activity sheet that focuses on being able to use there, their and they’re accurately. Included is key information at the top of the sheet that children can refer back to before completing tasks to check understanding.

A sheet that children can use to draft a diary entry that includes key focus points and a mini self-assessment at the end to check they have the key features. This is then followed by a second page for children to redraft their writing on that gives them some key focus points when redrafting.

A set of three differentiated worksheets that work on place value for Year 3 children. Having used a similar format in my own lessons, these sheets often provide enough challenge for lessons, with children taking on the easier work then moving on to harder challenges within the other sheets. These have all been made with mastery in mind and so follow this pattern.
