FRENCH/GERMAN/ITALIAN/SPANISH~Food and Drink ~ BLOCKBUSTERS

A fun way to practise being able to talk about food and drinks in French. Could also be used for German, Italian, Spanish and any other foreign language. Contains 25 images. la pommele bananela fraisel'orangela tomatela carotteles petits poisles champignonsles haricots vertsles fritesla saucissela viandele poissonle pouletle painle beurrele fromagele sandwichle croissantle gâteaules crêpesl'œufl'eaule laitle jus d'orangeThis could be modified as to how many items you need to teach. Based on the game show where the aim is to complete a line of connecting hexagonal shapes either from side to side or from top to bottom. To gain control of a shape, students have to name the picture to gain control of the shape. This could be extended by naming the colour of the item and even further by say if you like, love, don't like or hate the fruit/vegetable in question. You could even say how often you eat the particular fruit or vegetable. The opportunities are endless. Have fun. My students did! If you consider this worth buying, 'un très grand merci. My thanks to: cliparts.com, openclipart.org and clipartbest.com for the use of the clipart images.

Zoo Project - German

Zoo Project - German

This is a workbook and set of resources about animals in a Zoo. It has cut and stick stuff, some flashcards and maps of zoos. It goes through basic descriptions to more advanced, and touches on issues of conservation, zoo planning and environment a little bit. I’ve included the rough set of lesson plans I did with it - apologies that they are in French, as I did the French version of this first and it’s basically the same thing!

GERMAN STARTER VOCABULARY (2) - CHRISTMAS EDITION - GAMES & ACTIVITIES

GERMAN STARTER VOCABULARY (2) - CHRISTMAS EDITION - GAMES & ACTIVITIES

Have some CHRISTMAS FUN with this set of GERMAN STARTER VOCABULARY GAMES AND ACTIVITIES! It features 99 words and phrases to keep your students joyful as they practise and perfect their GERMAN vocabulary at CHRISTMAS!The games and activities really do help to create a lively language learning environment, where students can work happily together, with both teacher-led and independent learning activities.I've classed the resource as suitable for ages 7-14, but it really does depend on the age at which your students begin their GERMAN learning. They definitely take a bit of prep – printing and laminating. Laminating is certainly worth the effort and expense, as you will be able to re-use the cards for many CHRISTMAS lessons to come. They will also take up quite a bit of your colour printer ink – printing in black and white will work equally well, as students can easily identify the GERMAN and ENGLISH cards from the different fonts/backgrounds used for each language. The whole-group practice and quick quiz activity is simply ready to go! The SNOWMEN feature vocabulary in the following word groups:- die Tiere- die Körperteile- das Wetter- Obst und Gemüse- die SchulfächerThe resource itself comprises 3 non-editable files in a zipped format:- game cards in both GERMAN and English - whole-group practice activity and quick quiz - whole-group practice activity and quick quiz that you can load on to a tablet or similar deviceso that students can work independently, and is perfect for your homeschool too I've included a selection of preview images to give you an idea of what the resource looks like as a whole. The SET 1 SANTAS and SET 2 SNOWMEN are also available as a combined mini-pack at the special CHRISTMAS price of £3.00 - you can see it here:https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/german-starter-vocabulary-1-and-2-christmas-edition-games-and-activities-11166960Please read the Terms of Use carefully – this resource is copyright, and for single-classroom use only.VIELEN DANK UND FROHE WEIHNACHTEN!
