A great alternative to use alongside practice papers, all answers will turn green when correct giving immediate feedback, hence also saves on printing/photocopying and marking. This can also be put on as many machines as you like, once downloaded put on your school network for pupils to work on-screen (no complex installation just copy to the shared area) and generate a new set of questions with one click! (Just click 'calculate now' and a new set will be generated each time.) This will also be good practice for the use of on-screen tests. Differentiated! - There is a support page, middle ability page and an extension page. On the last page are corresponding target lists which can be used for self assessment, tracking or to focus intervention. Great for revising multiple topics whilst improving fluency and mental maths skills, and also includes a times tables booster! #### Change from £20 Four in a Row Money Games

Differentiated, illustrated four-in-a-row game boards, each featuring 36 prices in UK currency for children to calculate the change from twenty pounds (£20). A fun, strategic activity for consolidating this key money skill. Includes:2 standard game boards (featuring different items and prices from each other)2 lower ability game boards (the same boards as above but with mostly less challenging calculations)Answer grids for all 4 game boards for at-a-glance checking for pupils or teacherIntended to be laminated and used again and again. In this activity children can either work as pairs against pairs or one against one to get four correct answers in a row - horizontally, vertically or diagonally. It works especially well if they roll a dice each time to find which column they have to pick a calculation from (the columns are numbered 1-6). If there are no questions left in the column whose number they have rolled, they could either skip a go or roll again. They could either use a different coloured whiteboard pen to record their answer on the board or add an initial or symbol if using the same coloured pen as the opponent. I recommend printing in A3 but it will work fine in A4 too. The lower ability versions have a star next to the title but could perhaps be printed on different coloured card or paper if required.I hope this saves you time and helps you make money learning fun. I would be very grateful for a review if you get a moment. Thank you.I also have versions of this game for calculating change from £1, £5 and £10.
