PSHE: New PSHE Bundle 2018-19

10 hours of new PSHE lessons on some of the most pertinent and pressing issues facing students in 2018/19. These topics have been identified by the PSHE Association as essentials for the coming year and so this bundle has been planned following their recommendations. All 10 lesson packs are complete with at least one hour-long powerpoint, accompanying differentiated worksheets, clip links with questions, plenaries, clear LOs, starters and engaging, varied main task activities. All are well differentiated to three levels throughout to enable clear evidence of progress for all students. These lessons have been selected to be in this bundle as they all focus on relatively new issues or ones which need further awareness amongst young people in the diverse world of technology, fake news and potentially tough futures which lie ahead. These resources have been highly-rated individually by TES users, follow the same consistent format and are easy to follow. There is zero extra work required, although each lesson is still completely editable too. I use all of these myself as a Head of PSHE and Citizenship and I really hope you find them excellent value. Drop Down Day : Careers and Enterprise

Drop Down Day : Careers and Enterprise

Drop Down Day Pack - A set of 6 lessons to cover a Drop Down Day (6 hours) all about careers and enterprise. The Drop Down Day was put together for Year 10 originally, but all the resources are editable and well-differentiated so it could be used with any year group KS4 / KS3 with a tweak or so. The overall theme for the series of KS4 Drop Down Days was ‘Independent Living’, so this is just one in a series of six which ran throughout the year. This particular day was run just before the Year 10s went off for work experience, as we decided that this would be a great way to prepare them and convey the importance of focusing on their possible future employment opportunities. As 25% of Britains now class themselves as self-employed, two out of the six sessions also have a large focus on entrepreneurship and enterprise skills. All these individual lessons have been rated very highly by Tes users and are tried and tested in my own department.
