WAS DENKST DU? German Quotes + sayings for speaking / discussion, topics: love and money; Deutsch

❤️ WAS DENKST DU? ❤️ German Quotes and sayings for classroom discussions, speaking activities and writing. Just print, laminate and use over and over again. I have had great lessons using quotes and sayings in class. The two topics money and love make it easy for any student to contribute to a discussion or give their opinion in written form. ❤️ About me ❤️ Hi there 👋🏼! I´m Cindy from Leipzig, Germany. I have been a German and English teacher for more than 12 years now. And I love coffee breaks ☕️. Coffee is just great. Over the years I have realized how much my students benefit most from lessons where THEY are the leaders, where THEY are encouraged to be proactive and learn from each other. Handing over the reins to my students doesn’t make me weaker as a teacher. It makes them responsible for their own learning and is highly motivating. I don’t want my students to be sailors. I want them to be CAPTAINS! (And I want coffee!) My teaching resources are all designed to enable students to USE the language. This is why you will always find the communicative approach in my resources - even simple crosswords come with ideas for speaking activities. All of my resources have been tested in class and will be updated regularly. Please rate my resources to help me build a reputation among millions of resources. Thanks for working with me ☺️ Cindy ❤️ Please see my other resources, too: [https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/CindyKuehne]

18 AQA German GCSE Revision Mats Themes 1, 2 and 3. Differentiated.

I have created these revision mats on AQA's key topics to aid my students with their revision, especially writing and speaking. Each mat is divided into the following sections: Definite delights, the past tense, the future tense, the conditional tense, attention-grabbing adjectives and showstoppers. Key languages is modelled for students to feedforward into their exams. A black copy of the subordinate mat is also included for you to adapt with your classes. As well as this, there is a revision mat on the future tense with examples of each pronoun in the future tense for each theme. GERMAN IDIOMS: HELPING YOU TOWARDS A GCSE A*

GERMAN IDIOMS: HELPING YOU TOWARDS A GCSE A*

This resource has been produced with GCSE potential A* candidates in mind. There are altogether 48 idioms, but if the students can become confident in handling a handful of them, they are going to impress the examiners like me. the resource includes an initial matching up exercise, where guess work will come into play, then a complete list with examples of each. students then have the opportunity to practice and extend their vocabulary through tasks such as reading a definition and supplying the correct idiom, putting in the missing word, and replacing a rather humdrum phrase with a more impressive idiom. I hope they will engage your students. The tasks should prove challenging and enjoyable.
