I currently work in a Secondary School for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. These resources have all been tailored for these students but can easily be adapted for your students, the lessons focus on active learning with as much group work and discussion/debate as possible. I am a Religious Studies subject specialist but I currently deliver a range of subjects including: English, PSHE, Citizenship, History, Geography and Young Enterprise. Please leave a review :)

This is a range of activities and a PowerPoint to welcome your class back on the first day, I use this with my new Yr.7 students but it can be used with any year group and age. The resources include a timetable for the day, an opportunity to make a new class charter, about me display, tutor board and getting to know the school through a treasure hunt, this activity is perfect for getting to know your new class and putting the boundaries in place from the start.
