Obst Gemüse Fruit and veg 4 worksheets

Fruit and Veg in German: Students are required to describe pictures before answering 2 questions in more detail. These 4 worksheets are ideal for cover, independent work or to fuel discussion between learning partners. Although the worksheets are numbered, this is purely for teacher/student reference as there is no particular order in which they need to be completed. How about laminating these worksheets and let groups of students work on them to create a poster with a copy of the picture in the middle and their answers written around the edge? Then ask each group to present their findings. This could result in a good class discussion… Now, are tomatoes actually a vegetable or a fruit? Why can or can’t bananas grow where you live? Please kindly respect the time it took me to construct the enclosed sheets, so please be fair to me and do not pass this resource to colleagues, unless you or your school have purchased the school licence for this resource too. Thank you. :) If you like these, please leave me a review and check back to see what else is new in my store at any time. Thank you. ©MosaiK

Literacy cue cards 196 adjectives and 130 verbs

This pack includes 196 cards with adjectives, e.g. 28 different ways of saying ‘great’ without repeating yourself… your students will soon start to assimilate these words which will come to them as they speak and write. There are also 130 cards with verbs, e.g. 20 ways to express ‘to like’, depending on the context. Everything is nice or boring, everybody likes or says… If you get frustrated each time your students use the same words over and over again, then this pack is just what you need to help your students to diversify their vocabulary. See the ‘Suggestions for use and differentiation’ document for tips on how to use this resource. You could also simply print and cut the cards to use as a wall display. Alternatively punch one corner and hang the cards together e.g. with a keyring, to give your students something to work with in class. Alphabet Cards with Animal Letters

These cute animal alphabet cards (upper case) are included in both letter format and A4 format to facilitate their printing around the world. Although these are primarily aimed at younger learners, they could equally be used with older learners, e.g. for ESL purposes. These cards lend themselves ideally for the teaching of the alphabet, letters and sounds alike. The idea of the animal representing the letter on each card could be extended to encourage students to find more words, e.g. words beginning with that letter to describe the animal or its activities etc… Or why not encourage your class to be inspired by these cards and come up with their own themed alphabet ? There are 2 letters (i.e. 2 cards) per page. Please kindly respect that it takes a while to construct the enclosed resource. Fairness deal: I will keep my price low. 49 flags to help your students count from 0 to over one million. A few flags have been left blank for you to add anything you like. Please note that this is the American (US) English version. Each page features 3 bunting triangles to print and cut out. I would suggest you hang the bunting in numerical order. The numbers are color-coded to help students make comparisons and draw conclusions on the numerical system. Print on card or on paper and laminate. If like me you like a no-fuss assembly, punch each triangle at the top with a 2-hole punch, pull a string/ribbon through the holes front to back and to the front again. A piece of sticky tape at the back will stop each triangle from moving along the string/ribbon. Please kindly respect the time it took me to construct the enclosed sheets. Suitable for discussion and use in many subjects, e.g. politics, history, geography, ESL, MFL, e.g. French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian etc… the 48 pictures will surely encourage learners to talk about the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. Pictures are presented in various sizes, i.e. 1, 2, 4 and 12 to a page. This allows for a variety of activities, from flash cards to pairs games, depending on the age of your learners. A PowerPoint presentation features all 48 pictures as well as slide 1 for you to adapt to your needs and an empty slide at the end to allow you to add anything you would like. The presentation file is also included as a .pdf file. The colourful pictures can just as easily be printed in black and white. Please note: Due to the ongoing conflict at the time of publishing as well as for copyright reasons, some of the pictures included in this resource may not have been taken in Ukraine/Russia. E.g. the picture of war graves aims to lead to a discussion on death in war situation, soldiers and civilians alike, although this picture does not represent a Ukrainian or Russian cemetery. If you and your learners enjoy discussions, then look out for other titles in my ‘let’s talk’ series or check out my growing bundle, which includes all of the current topics: Global and Social Issues for discussion BUNDLE https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12156405 Out of fairness to me and to reflect the time I spent designing this resource, please be sure to purchase a school license, if you intend to share this with colleagues anywhere.
