I have always enjoyed making up games and other fun activities, not only for MFL but also for other subjects I have taught along the way. My resources in this shop contain a mixture of activities like work books, educational board games, puzzles and more.
This resource contains my three black and white work books on Local Foods, Food Miles and Food Supply Chain. Each work book is 4 pages long. The aim is to get learners thinking about where food comes from and how it gets from its source to being consumed.
Also included is a file with 48 topic-related key words across the 3 resources. The key words are available as word cards and also as an alphabetical list with space to write meanings, definitions or simply for notes.
All files are included as .pdf taken from Word documents. Each is also in two sizes, i.e. A4 and letter format.
A workbook to encourage younger children to look around them during a trip to the woods. Most of the answers can be drawn or written. The Word document is included as well as the pdf version. That way, teachers can adjust the contents to their class. the workbook in its current version contains 16 pages including the front and back pages and can therefore be printed as a booklet if you so wish.

Welcome to an activity pack, which aims to show what potatoes and sweet potatoes have in common and how they differ. Learners complete a 3-page workbook containing a page each on origins, botanical information and nutritional facts. All pictures used in the workbook are also available as picture cards to aid discussion before, alongside and/or after completion of the written activities.
The third task, i.e. nutritional facts is also included as a text + word cards to facilitate your learners’ understanding.
Finally, a board game can be used for final memory recall and consolidation.
A document with suggestions for use and differentiation is also included in this pack.
Earth Day is celebrated worldwide on 22 April every year. These activities aim to get learners thinking, talking, discussing and understanding why it is so important for today’s generations to invest in and take care of our planet for the well-being of future generations.
This pack includes one web-based search activity which centers on facts about Earth Day.
