EDEXCEL BUSINESS - THEME 1 1.2 Spotting a Business Opportunity This revision question menu can be used in a range of different ways. I have given it out as a home learning tasks, particularly useful over self isolation as it gives students something to do whilst being away from school and still able to interact with the lesson content. I have used it in lesson when needing some differentiation, I will signpost students to certain sections to complete. This is an activity that can be done both in school and out of school. It covers the following: 1.2.1 Customer Needs 1.2.2 Market Research 1.2.2 Market Research 1.2.3 Market Segmentation 1.2.4 The competitive environment

Primarily created for Edexcel, this is one of my latest resources. 1.4.2 - Business location. Included is a lesson plan - filled out with differentiation, power point which will guide the teacher through the task, this also includes modeling of what the students need to do for the different levels e.g. assistant for low ability, manager for middle ability and CEO for higher ability. Students need to locate different businesses on a map and justify their reasons. If you need further information on the power point then please get in touch.

Edexcel Business - End of Unit Test - Theme 2 - 2.1. Growing a Business - 15 short mark questions This is an end of topic test for the Edexcel Business, Theme 2, 2.1 Growing a Business unit. This topic test is definition based for knowledge recall and therefore mostly 2 mark responses are required. There are 15 questions in total lasting 42 minutes. I have created this test to ensure that my students understand the basic definitions, this will then be built upon in a later assessment that will ask them to apply their knowledge to a case study with heavier weighted questions. Key things to know 42 minutes in timing 14 questions 2 mark responses 4 mark responses

Stop the Bus/Scattegories

A game that can be used as a plenary or to identify key terms for a lesson. I often use 'fun' categories, followed by a couple more serious ones. I have included a tutorial of how to play and a blank sheet to print out. Students are required to think of words for each category and as soon as they have filled in all the categories in a horizontal line they need to shout 'stop the bus' everyone needs to put their pens down and they can score points by putting original words in. Teacher or student to pick the letter that the whole class use. Please see tutorial for more detail. Only trouble I have had is trying to score the class as a whole when they play individually. I often just use the person who has said stop the bus first.

Edexcel GCSE ICT, unit 2 connectivity general. I am not an ICT teacher, but I am teaching ICT. I have primarily used the Edexcel Revision Guide which has been great, but I needed a a power point to teach from, so this is what I have made. It's not very detailed, but it's a starting point for teachers in the same position as me.
