I have worked with children for over 40 years. I specialised in Computer Science, SEN and Speech and Language. In 2005 I achieved joint first in the Becta ICT practice awards. I taught Computing to years 1-6 for seven years. I created the Advanced Colourful Semantic resources to help the children in my groups understand grammar and sentence formation. I wanted a scheme I could introduce in Reception Class then use as they progressed through school individually, in groups or full class.

The Colour Monster books by Anna Llenas are wonderful and I have been totally inspired!
I have written some poems to use along side the stories and added a couple of extra feelings.
This pack includes 9 original poems covering different emotions such as, happy, sad, angry and calm.
I have made wordmats, worksheets and pictograms to support using these books throughout the curriculum.
I hope you enjoy using these resources and will let me know if you have any suggestions to improve them.
