This is a detailed lesson and PowerPoint Explaining the current two main issues in cosmology, dark matter and dark energy. This lessson is designed to encourage pupils to think about what makes a good theory, it utilises the evolution of the theory of Gravity from Newton to Einstein as an examplar of this process and then describes the two main issues of an accelerating universe and spinning galaxies. This is a detailed lesson and PowerPoint explaining how an electric loudspeaker works. This is the fifth lesson in the Electromagnetism unit of work (P7). The lesson recaps sound, longitudinal waves, frequency and amplitude and then applies them to a moving coil speaker, building on the knowledge of the motor force and solenoids from the previous lessons in the chapter.
