I have developed a project called Alpine Snow School Project - This project enables students to develop a wide range of skills by researching, developing a poster, presentation, excel spreadsheet tasks including SUM, MIN, MAX, Average, IF function, Lookup Function, Absolute as well as general ICT questions. I created a mini test for my year 10s and 11s on the fundamentals of algorithms. There are 10 questions and takes about 30 minutes to complete. I have also included a marking scheme. The questions can be changed so that they are easy adaptable to your students. Questions include binary search, merge sort and abstraction.
