A knowledge organiser linked to Buddhism, both in colour and black and white. There are also five quizzes included that are linked to the knowledge organiser. The knowledge organiser includes key vocabulary with definitions, as well as then having different sections of information linked to Buddhism. The quizzes then follow this up with different questions and task styles over the five activities, with answers included for each set. A free example for Christianity can be found here.

Three lessons that look at focusing on developing understanding of Easter and Ramadan before being able to make comparisons between the two different religious festivals. The lessons also focus on developing reading as well as religious understanding. The first lesson focuses on Easter. This includes a text with information about Easter. The text also includes a section for vocabulary and a section for adding notes. The text forms the basis of the lesson (which can then be found in the lesson PowerPoints) that includes developing reading fluency of the text, discussion of the vocabulary that forms the left hand side of the text, a chance to discuss Easter, with an opportunity for the class to make notes, and a quiz and discussion to end the lesson. The second lesson focuses on Ramadan. This follows the same style of the first lesson with a text with information about Ramadan. The text again includes a section for vocabulary and a section for adding notes. The text forms the basis of the lesson (which can then be found in the lesson PowerPoints) that includes developing reading fluency of the text, discussion of the vocabulary that forms the left hand side of the text, a chance to discuss Ramadan, with an opportunity for the class to make notes, and a quiz and discussion to end the lesson. The third lesson then provides the opportunity for children to revisit the two texts about Easter and Ramadan before engaging in discussions and an activity that require them to consider similarities and differences between Easter and Ramadan, completing a Venn diagram to finalise the sequence of lessons.

The worksheets focus on inherited characteristics with an activity that focuses on sliding scales to decide whether it it inherited or acquired or whether it may fall somewhere inbetween such as hair colour. There are then questions getting pupils to consider why hair and eye colour can be inherited or acquired. The final worksheets focus on family trees and looking at what a child has inherited from different people in the family, considering the roles different people in the family may play including grandparents. All the sheets can also provide rich discussion as a class in considering different elements of inheritance.

The information and activities are provided within one document that can be printed as a booklet to then work through. This includes key vocabulary, key information and diagrams alongside activities that get pupils to think about and use their learning in different ways, as well as time to answer the two main questions. Also included is a PowerPoint presentation that can be used alongside the information sheets. The seventh of a ten part series of lessons that focus on many of the elements of the locational knowledge aspects for the KS2 Geography curriculum. The series of lessons focuses predominantly on children being able to use maps to find countries and cities in different continents as well as a brief focus on time zones and globalisation. All of the resources needed to run the lesson are included with worksheets, any potential example maps required (in case atlases are unavailable) the presentation and unit of work plan. This lesson focuses on being able to identify various African countries and their capital cities and labelling these via a blank map.
