This is a powerpoint to print as a display or could just be shared with your ALevel, GCSE and KS3 History students of useful words to improve the quality and precision of their writing. The words are themed e.g. useful words to use for cause, for adding an additional point or argument, for change etc.

This powerpoint is an example of how you can make a really effective assessment feedback lesson. You can model excellent explanation and layer the development of answers using a powerpoint like this and also have lots of additional activities to keep students busy. Edexcel GCSE History Weimar and Nazi Germany This booklet is designed to offer complete revision support to GCSE History students with the 2015- GCSE History spec for Weimar and Nazi Germany 1918-1939. Revision quiz for medicine through time. Has several rounds including Who is Who? Significant individuals and their breakthroughs, key words, key factors for change, key inventions etc. Can be set for homework in stages or as a beast and later self/ peer marked in class. Students have always enjoyed this quiz and found it helpful. Note only goes up to and including Industrial era- was struggling to fit it all on!

Lesson inspired by Miranda Kaufmann’s Black Tudors book- stories of four inspiring Black individuals and what they can tell us about Black African people in Tudor England. This is also part of my unit of work on Tudor monarchs priced £6 for all the lessons if you would rather get more lessons on the Tudors for KS3. They are very high challenge and include a variety of retrieval tasks.
