This lessons looks at: Chronology, Facts and interpretations and Anachronisms Includes two different homework tasks (to provide options) Includes a powerpoint, word doc worksheet and two diff hwk sheets. This case study is a 2 page word document which includes infographics and maps as well as detail of several key Supreme Court decisions regarding abortion since 1973 landmark Roe v Wade decision. EG Casey v Planned Parenthood and of course Dobbs v Jackson. It is a standalone but fully editable word doc resource. PNG images are for visual purposes only. I use this as part of my unit on the US constitution and evaluating how effectively it protects rights and also by unit on the Supreme Court as part of evaluation of Court as policy makers, Judicial Activism and ideological balance of the court.

This is a long/ detailed lesson on Anglo Saxon society. Includes information about the Anglo Saxon Church, Trade, Festivals and the differences between villages and Burhs/ Towns. Local government- Shire Reeves etc Also includes detailed activities on Crime and Punishment- the Hue and Cry and Trials by Fire etc. Match up Crime to punishment Also a retrieval pyramid on Anglo Saxon England so far. My lesson 3 on this topic.

Lesson inspired by Miranda Kaufmann’s Black Tudors book- stories of four inspiring Black individuals and what they can tell us about Black African people in Tudor England. This is also part of my unit of work on Tudor monarchs priced £6 for all the lessons if you would rather get more lessons on the Tudors for KS3. They are very high challenge and include a variety of retrieval tasks.
