This lesson focuses on the issues surrounding shark fin soup, there is a question sheet to accompany the Gordon Ramsey documentary on it (easily found on YouTube) following this there are two tasks both with mark schemes and set instruction; making a poster writing a letter to restaurants urging them to take it off their menu. To teach everything in this lesson it should take 3-6 lessons depending on which tasks and the age/ ability of your class.

Facts are added to the map and then the lesson culminates in several questions that piece together the evidence. The lesson includes YouTube links to video explanations of tsunami formation and footage of the Boxing Day tsunami. This usually takes 2 periods.

Using Myanmar as an example case study and evaluating whether it should become a tourism hot spot based on different stake holders, students work in groups to evaluate whether their given stakeholder is in favour or against tourism and reasons why, they then share this with the class to add to a sheet that covers all stakeholders opinions. Finally, students make their own mind up and answer the enquiry question.
