Edexcel Core 1 and 2 Revision Cards

(18)
These revision cards cover most C1 and C2 topics and can be used as an individual or class activity. Individuals can ask friends/relatives to test them using these cards. For use in class, hand out one laminated card per pupil. They circulate round the class, pairing up to ask and answer their questions, then swapping cards and pairing up with someone else. It's a nice active revision lesson. Please do let me know if I&'ve made any errors on these cards. C3, S1 and S2 cards are also available.
Algebra Form Time Revision for Foundation GCSE

Algebra Form Time Revision for Foundation GCSE

(17)
I was asked to create a PowerPoint to accompany this resource https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/sk18maths-revision-booklets-foundation-key-skills-11891525 by @SK18Maths. I adapted his algebra booklet slightly and created an accompanying PowerPoint that is designed to be used in form time. These form time interventions are only 20-25 minutes long so the idea is that in each form time the teacher briefly reviews a topic using the slides and then pupils complete one page in the booklet. Full instructions are in the PowerPoint. Of course this PowerPoint and booklet could easily used in longer revision sessions by covering multiple topics in one session.
'Correct Answer Only' A Level Maths Revision
mrsmorgan1mrsmorgan1

'Correct Answer Only' A Level Maths Revision

(15)
Based on an idea by Stuart Price (@sxpmaths), these ‘Correct Answer Only’ activities are for C1, C2, C3 and C4. They are designed for the Edexcel specification but use past OCR exam questions. Students work on their own to complete 8 questions, then submit their final answers for marking. They simply get a tick or cross for each answer and then have to re-try anything they get wrong. These typically take a good 30 - 45 minutes to complete and are cheap to print (one A4 sheet per student) so perfect for A level revision.

C4 Revision Clock
mrsmorgan1mrsmorgan1

C4 Revision Clock

(7)
Each student is given 12 questions (on A4) and a clock face (on A3). Students write their workings and answers in each section of the clock. Every 5 minutes or so students should be moving on to the next question/section. If all goes to plan they complete all 12 questions in a one hour lesson. When I do this lesson I set a timer to sound every five minutes - every time the buzzer sounds I write an answer on the board. This revision activity allows students to practise working under timed conditions and keeps them on task and engaged throughout the revision lesson. These questions are fairly challenging so suitable for students working at a grade A. The questions are taken from IYGB papers.
