I am a languages teacher who has, over the years, created many resources for teaching French and Spanish. Here I am sharing a few of these, in the hope it makes a hard-working teacher's life a little easier at a time when they need something quickly. Often adding more resources, so watch this space!

Le professione - cosa manca? Italian vocab learning game - professions

(0)
A Powerpoint to help students learn Italian vocabulary related to professions. Useful as a starter for the classroom or any language lesson. 3 slides have vocabulary and a picture for each profession. These are then followed by a group of slides for each group of professions where each has a profession missing which the student needs to name. Highly versatile in terms of how it’s used and could be made more difficult for more able learners, e.g. by asking for the word in a sentence, in a sentence in a different tense, checking the gender, etc. Also available in my shop in Spanish, German and French.

Pairs Memory Game - Fruta y Verdura

This PowerPoint focuses on a set of fruit and vegetables vocabulary in Spanish, each with its own vocab slide. These can be used to help practise the vocabulary, which can then be revised further by playing the pairs game. You will want to play around with it in order to use it in a way which best suits your needs, but it’s highly customisable if you want to replace certain food items with others which you are teaching, change the colour of the board squares (e.g. into different colours for masculine/feminine items), etc. This PowerPoint is also available in an equivalent version in French, Italian and German in my shop.

French GCSE Speaking Practice - Recorded Questions and instructions for recording answers (PPT)

(0)
These Powerpoints (a bundle of 11 - for less cost than all 11 bought separately) include 4 recorded questions on each, spoken by a native French speaker, as well as areas where students can record their answers using the audio recording tools in Powerpoint, and then submit to their teacher or tutor. Questions are provided both orally and in written format. These are useful for enabling students to independently practise comprehension and speaking, and can be used to develop student skills in answering GCSE questions fully and with a variety of structures. You could, of course, add more questions to each PPT or amend to suit more/less able students. These cover all 3 themes of AQA French GCSE.

PPT Bundle - German Prepositions followed by Accusative, Dative and Genitive Cases

(0)
3 for the price of 2! A bundle of 3 Powerpoints which outline German prepositions typically followed by certain cases; the accusative, genitive and dative. All Powerpoints illustrate the key learning points effectively with examples and are useful for introducing this as a grammar topic. These Powerpoints are also available individually in my shop. There is some crossover (prepositions can sometimes be followed by the accusative OR the dative), and this is outlined in the slides.
German Prepositions followed by the Dative Case

German Prepositions followed by the Dative Case

A Powerpoint presenting German prepositions which are followed by the Dative Case, and explaining how these are used. Includes illustrative examples of the use of each. Also includes a section on prepositions which take both the dative and the accusative cases. I also have further powerpoints on prepositions which take the genitive case and accusative case.

French AQA GCSE - ALL Photo card and extra general conversation questions - June 2018 paper

(0)
A list of all photo card questions from Foundation and Higher photo cards from the June 2018 paper - could be used as a practice list for revision for exams this year. I have left it as an editable word document so you could, for example, create space for pupils to write answers, either digitally or manually. Also includes all of the extra questions provided in the Teacher Notes for the exam for the general conversation themes.
French Direct Object Pronouns

French Direct Object Pronouns

(0)
A comprehensive visual resource to help teach the key concepts and uses of French direct object pronouns. Another similar worksheet is available on indirect object pronouns. Includes a definition, information on word order and use with imperatives and negative imperatives and perfect tense agreement. I have created a range of visual resources which aim to help visual learners in particular with complex grammar. Can be used as a reference or as display material.

Connect 4 and Noughts and Crosses - Ppt game to practise Countries vocabulary in any language

(0)
A ready-to-use Powerpoint based game of both Connect-4 and Noughts and Crosses to practise Countries vocabulary. Can be used to practise any language and with any objectives, e.g. single vocabulary items, sentence structure, tenses, etc. The games must be played in edit mode - NOT slideshow mode. The pictures in the grids must also be ‘sent to back’ so that the counters show up in front of them. I usually split groups up in to 2 and have them compete against each other - but again, this resource can be used in a multitude of ways.

(0)
A comprehensive, plain-English visual guide/reference resource for 5 French tenses - the present, perfect, imperfect, pluperfect and future simple. Includes examples. Great for visual learners. I also sell each tense worksheets individually. I have used this to create a tenses revision booklet and reference for classes and individual learners. Please note that the preview does not show pages in the order of the booklet - so whilst it may look confused, the booklet is ordered by tense.
