Scripted fantasies are powerful tools that teachers can use to transport children’s minds into a wealth of scenarios, adventures and mysteries. By provoking the imagination, children become curious; they wonder, they generate new ideas and explore possibilities beyond what is expected. 'Beyond the Aegean Sea' can be used with upper KS2 children as part of their exploration of Ancient Greece. The class close their eyes and listen as you take them on a journey in which they themselves play a significant role.
