Works really well when laminated and students can tick off the boxes as they have considered each question. Has led to lower ability learners become more independent in my classroom and extended their writing beautifully.

A three lesson bundle on the balcony scene. Lesson one focuses on Romeo's soliloquy and uses Shakespearean scientific theory to extend analysis of key quotations. Lesson 2 focuses on Juliet's response. Lesson 3 focuses on comparisons to Genesis and the Bible to really extend students' analysis of this key scene. Throughout they are encouraged to make links between this scene and the wider play.
