Differentiated A differentiated lesson by input and worksheet. Enjoy teaching this differentiated lesson of two halves - middle and higher ability can independently tackle shape reasoning questions while you teach the lower and middle ability how to draw angles. Then the LA and MA can be independent while you talk through the reasoning and main activity with the higher ability children. If you prefer, you can teach the whole class the main input and use the shape reasoning questions at the end for further challenges. There is a range of activities so children can practice this skill with purpose and move onto thought provoking challenges when they feel they need to progress further. SEN - Draw over the dotted lines to draw and label the angles. Name as acute or obtuse. LA - Draw and label angles on a line to find the aliens. MA - Complete the calculations to find the angles before drawing them using a protractor. Label and check your partner’s. HA - Draw and label a regular pentagon with equal sides and angles. Figure out the internal angles of a hexagon and draw a regular hexagon. Challenge: Double the area of a right angled triangle, draw, label and prove it with calculations. All reviews welcome.
