data collection presentation post assessment statistics geography maths independent

A worksheet to use with pupils post assessment. Students firstly create a percentage from their test score. They then collect data from their peers and fill in the table. Once completed, they order the data and calculate the mean & median. They then plot the data as a stack graph or double bar graph (boys & girls). To finish, they complete the target setting sheet. Data can be analysed once all elements have been done. Can be used with all year groups, but works well for KS3.

Focuses on key areas from the Geography curriculum. All activities are research based so would require laptops/ Ipads to complete. Focuses on the countries that will be taking part in the World Cup: locating the countries, capital cities, facts about the physical geography, matching flags to countries. Two activities come with answer sheets, the 3rd activity is open ended therefore the answers would have be checked (perhaps cross checked with another pupil who has chosen the same country). National curriculum coverage is included.
