Fitness Circuit Cards

Fitness Circuit Cards

There are 17 ability colour coded circuit cards and 1 powerpoint attachement with 22 basic circuit activity cards. The ability cards have 1 station with 3 different ways to do the exercise. Red is hardest, yellow is medium, green is easiest. There are pictures for each of the 3 stations on the card so its easy for the students to replicate it. A nice easy fitness lesson. I have mine laminated. I use the ability colour coded ones for lesson observations and its clear to see differentiation.

OCR GCSE - Principles of Training Quiz

OCR GCSE - Principles of Training Quiz

This quiz is very similar to my other resource for the components of fitness. In this activity the students pick a shape and it takes them to a question - they then have to answer the question given to them. This can be done individually, in pairs or in teams and works really well as a starter or plenary activity for this topic. I have found that PE students also enjoy the competitive nature of the game! I’ve also found it to be a useful informal assessment method for gauging understanding of this topic.
