UNWRITTEN by Natasha Bedingfield

UNWRITTEN by Natasha Bedingfield

This lesson focuses on a very popular song Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield. It contains a fill in the gaps for ESL students and a set of discussion questions suitable for native speakers as well as ESL students. The discussion questions guide students to understand the message of the song and invite them to share how they see themselves and the world. It helps ESL students to practice their listening and speaking skills, while teachers of native speakers can use this song to encourage students to think of their life like a book and themselves as the authors. The ideal age group for this lesson would be 14 to 18.

Key Stage 1: 2 year topic curriculum

Key Stage 1: 2 year topic curriculum

This topic map provides teachers with a 2 year overview for KS1. All foundation subject objectives are mapped against 12 different topics. These are then broken down into easy to use medium term overviews for each theme. I created this document to ensure that foundation subjects had an even coverage throughout KS1. Additional to this are medium term plans and short term lesson plan templates. I have also created and english overview, complete with mapped objectives in sequence, tracking assessment sheets linked to Target Tracker and selected texts. Guided Reading mapped overviews can also be purchased for Y1 and Y2.
