Home Corner Family Role Necklaces

Home Corner Family Role Necklaces

Download my EDITABLE set of family role necklaces. Simply cut out and laminate and then attach to a lanyard or some wool/string/ribbon and place in your home corner to help your children act out different roles. It also helps to limit the number of children in the home corner at any given time - if they don't have a lanyard then they need to return when there is space. Mix and match different ethnicities, family groups or even add your own languages to represent the languages in your class or to use in language lessons. This is a really versatile product! ***IMPORTANT*** If you would like the editable fonts to be the same as the ones I use then you need to have these fonts installed on your computer; https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Hello-Fonts-Personal-Non-Commercial-Use-301730 https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/ALL-Kimberly-Geswein-Fonts-in-One-Big-Download-Personal-Use-537780 They are completely free to download but if you do then use them to make your own resources then please buy a commercial license.

Words That Burn

Words That Burn

The Words That Burn project will support teachers and secondary students to explore human rights and express themselves through poetry. The free teaching resource includes lesson plans and activity ideas, an extensive collection of relevant and exciting poems and AV links to spoken word performances. Each term there will be supplementary information about an individual who is at risk because their rights are being violated. Students can choose to write solidarity or protest poems for that person and Amnesty will forward the poems. Young people will discover that their voice matters and their words can make a difference.
