Seas Wordsearch Puzzle Sheet Keywords Settler Starter Cover Lesson The Sea Geography

Seas Wordsearch Puzzle Sheet Keywords Settler Starter Cover Lesson The Sea Geography

Wordsearch Puzzle sheet on the theme of ‘Seas’. Powerpoint so can be used on the board or printed as a worksheet. Includes space for students to explain the keywords and suggested extension activities. Can take 10 minutes or an hour, depending on which activities the students complete. Ideal for the start of a lesson, a quick filler, a homework, part of a cover lesson or as a plenary on the board with a whiteboard pen. The idea behind these is to get students to become more literate and think independently about the words that could be used to describe the topic being taught. The repetition of the word over and over as they look for the word is useful in remembering the terms. Often the students will pick up on things that you would not normally expect!

WJEC 2016 SPECIFICATION MOCK EXAM PAPER for PAPER 1 (FULL PAPER THEME 1-3 and MARKSCHEME)

WJEC 2016 SPECIFICATION MOCK EXAM PAPER for PAPER 1 (FULL PAPER THEME 1-3 and MARKSCHEME)

It’s that time of the year again when we prepare our students with mock exams to see how well they know their stuff. In this mock exam pack, I have created a very detailed mark scheme that looks very similar to the real mark schemes that are used by WJEC examiners. In addition to this I have also added grade boundaries to help consistency with the department awarding process, but also I have looked at previous exam grade boundaries and given the best estimate to what they could be like in the summer. The mock paper includes only the first three themes and includes a range of different questions that help to show pupils the different ways that they could ask a question in the exam. Theme 1 uses the additional questions that have been uploaded to the WJEC websites, Theme 2 and 3 uses a range of past paper questions and exam style questions from the revision guide. The paper is set out like what the real exam paper would be set out like, giving students the opportunity to get a feel of what the real paper would be like. NB, I have decided to print my exam paper in booklet form on A3 paper as I feel like this would give pupils more of a feel for the exam, but you don’t have to do that Any feedback would be great! AQA A Level Geography: Physical Exam - ALL THE CASE STUDIES! #AllInOne

AQA A Level Geography: Physical Exam - ALL THE CASE STUDIES! #AllInOne

Firstly, if you choose to download my resource(s), please take the time to leave a rating (as I know most of don’t really bother) - I do really value your feedback. ***** FOLLOW @AllRoundRes, to stay up-to-date with the latest resources and news! ***** #GetYourLearnOn #AskAllRes I created this resource for A Level AQA Geography (Physical), but it could be used for any exam board. It is a full set of all the case studies for the physical exam; Water and Carbon Cycles, Coastal Systems and Landscapes and Hazards. It contains key facts and information for each case study, with a map showing the location of the case study, by different coloured dots in relation to each case study . This allows students to effectively revise all key knowledge needed for case study based questions. I would suggest, print these off in colour, A4 or A5 for pocket sized revision cards. Then laminate for best use and practice. Students can also use these as a basis for revision. Create mind-maps, cue cards and topic links! Also, helping them form answers to extended questions, needing a higher level of response and writing. If you have any queries, questions or concerns, then please email or alternatively write a comment describing your needs, where I will be happy to help! ***** Be sure to follow me, to keep update with my most recent uploaded resources! *****
