Useful for adding the next steps to observations, as well as for setting targets for parents’ evenings or reports. Designed to help move children on to their ‘next step’ across all 17 areas of learning, as part of teachers’ formative assessment. Also includes Exceeding statements for HA pupils.
Disappointed! It's only three and a half pages. I was hoping for next steps to be more detailed and also to cover other areas such as behaviour. Really not worth the £4.50 that I've spent.

Hello, I'm really sorry to hear you feel this way. The document covers all 17 areas of learning in the EYFS curriculum and also includes statements for children working towards Exceeding goals - the preview gives you a good idea of what to expect. I find them really useful for adding to children's observations as next steps, as well as for reports to parents, but I would be more than happy to take suggestions for how you think it could be improved, if you have any.

A useful document to assist with writing next steps. It would be really beneficial to be able to copy and paste from the document to add to individual children's learning journals or reports. I was a bit disappointed that copying from the pdf seemed to be blocked.
