Welcome to my shop, which I'll be filling with language/lit/ed-tech resources. I'm also interested in 3D virtual worlds, and some of the resources I'm developing now are about how to use these exciting environments.

This is a free, editable resource that introduces students to some clever ways to use Google search to make results more specific. It could be used as an activity in class or as homework. I recommend using it in class as a group-work activity, because some of the questions lend themselves to discussion.

This resource is applicable across the disciplines, and will be particularly relevant for teachers that have students with digital devices. By working through the activity, students will learn a few Google search operators and symbols that will help them get more precise, relevant results with their Google searches.
