Build a Poem: Humpty Dumpty - Pocket Chart Center
The kids will love using this classic nursery rhyme song as a Build a Poem center activity. Humpty Dumpty is a childhood favorite!

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the King's horses,
and all the King's men,
couldn't put Humpty together again.

Hang the colorful rhyme poster near a pocket chart center. The kids build the poem, sequencing the large print word cards. When done, the students love to retell or sing the poem to the class - great for a shared reading activity.

Great for poetry stations, poetry folders, a poem a day, rhyming, concepts of print, and sentence structure, for PreK, kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade.

A full color rhyme poster for display - Humpty Dumpty Poem
Word cards - (measuring 3.5" x 6")
Every word is printed on a separate card, bordered in light blue polka dots, with a small graphic clipart of Humpty Dumpty ~ this helps when storing, organizing, and sorting, to keep students from misplacing them with other pocket chart activities.
