French Half-Term Planning Personal Information

This unit of work comprises six lessons and resources including Activ Inspire flipcharts. It teaches students to:

*give personal information in French.
*learn 11 common colours in French
*say colours you like and dislike in French
*be able to give 4 different responses when asked “ça va?”
*identify how someone is feeling from a conversation
*be able to conduct an interview in French and understand the answers.

Although this is aimed at Year 3 and follows on from Lesson 1 - 6, my students had only basic prior knowledge of French, so this could be aimed at younger or older pupils.

All French is translated, so non French speaking teachers can teach this unit confidently.
