Counting in ones and tens, on and back up to 100 (three days).

Children begin to learn to count back from 20 and forwards and back for any number up to 20. They learn to locate numbers on the 20 beaded line, focusing on how they fit around the landmarks of 5, 10, 15 and 20. Children begin to learn to count to 100 using the 100 square and 100 bead bar. With practice more and more chn will join in, particularly if they have learned to do this in reception. They begin to learn to count on in tens.
