Do you need a really good writing example to inspire your pupils?

This opening paragraph for creative writing sessions (or for homework) includes well structured sentences. It is ideal for Year 5 and 6 children - and KS3. The crime / mystery focus will engage writers and should initiate some good class discussions.

It includes a version that can be easily cut out and stuck in their books, and a version that can be completed on the sheet in class or for homework.

If you liked this, please take a look at the paid version which includes this opener and two new ones.
IN THE FULL VERSION
