On October 20th, Sydney Opera House will turn 40. In celebration of this, We've released a four-part mini series &'A Part Of Us&';. Each video focuses on the different ways the Opera House has become a part of 'Us&'; our collective identity.

Worksheet on a French facebook profile to use as a starter which has 7 questions for students to find certain sections and vocabulary.
Worksheet to use as a starter or to liven up the lesson a bit, which is a questionnaire for students to ask around the class about each other´s use of the Internet.
Worksheet on advantages and disadvantages of the Internet in French and English for students to match up.
Powerpoint I used with a yr9 middle set to introduce gradually vocabulary about the body, illnesses and healthy lifestyles. It goes with Listos 2.
It includes quite a lot of vocabulary lists, some listenings, role plays and many games of Splat.
Powerpoint plus worksheets, activities and vocabulary lists on topic of Chez Moi, which I used with a yr9 top set. It includes:
-parts of the house
-describing where you live, eg type of house
-adjectives to describe the house
-speaking practice and questions about where you live
-a bit on the countryside vs the city
A simple worksheet I used with yr7 and even yr9 -neither even knew what a verb was, so it actually wasn´t THAT simple to explain- for them to practise making negative sentences using ne..pas, ne.. que, ne.. jamais, ne.. plus.
PowerPoint and accompanying workpack designed to encourage pupils to use a variety of complex structures in their spoken and written French. I use it as a revision tool for pupils to use as part of their controlled assessment preparation. Please do let me know if you spot any mistakes.
Print out the cards and laminate them. Pupils work in pairs or small groups and race against each other to form the perfect tense with the cards after reading the infinitive and the subject from the PowerPoint. Good element of competition and really highlights how much (or little!) they actually know. Includes avoir and être verbs and agreement.
Can be easily adapted to suit your requirements too.
